As the saying goes, the first, as well as the last hour of each trading session, is the most important and active in terms of price & volume.
More so, the activity in the last hour is said to be of utmost importance because most of the pro-traders and institutions are active at this time. Hence, when a stock sees a good spike in volume in the last leg of the trade along with price rise, it is considered a pro, and institutions have a keen interest in the stock. BHEL: The stock surged about 2.28% at the end of the day. It was under pressure sin the morning but soon witnessed a strong recovery towards the end. The volumes build in the last hour and stock surged nearly a percent. It recorded good volume and closed at near at day’s high. Thus, the stock is likely to be traded heavily with positive bias in times to come.
Dabur: The stock soared about 2.21% on Thursday. After the gap-up opening, the stock continued to trade higher and formed a bullish candle on the daily timeframe. Towards the end, the stock surged over 1.5% and recorded above average volume. The volume was found to be higher than previous day’s volume and indicates larger participation in the stock. It is likely to be under trader’s trader for upcoming days.
Eris Lifesciences: The stock soared higher by 1.73% and closed at day’s high. It traded flat for most part of the day but witnessed strong buying interest towards the end, as stock surged about 2% in the last hour. Moreover, rise in volume was recorded for third consecutive day, indicating an active interest among the market participants. The stock is likely to trade positive, as validated by rising volumes.
