Yes Bank declines on reporting a 79% fall in Q3 consolidated net profit

Today, the stock opened at Rs. 17.35 and has touched a high and low of Rs 18.60 and Rs 17.35, respectively.
On Monday, shares of Yes Bank closed at Rs 18.20, down by 1.65 points or 8.33% from its previous closing of Rs 19.80 on the BSE.
On December 21, Yes Bank reported results for the third quarter that ended on December 31, 2022.
The bank has reported a fall of 80.66% in its net profit at Rs 51.52 crore for Q3FY23 as compared to Rs 266.43 crore for the previous year’s same quarter. However, the total income of the bank increased by 24.56% to Rs 7,015.18 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 5,632.03 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.
On a consolidated basis, the bank has reported a fall of 79.28% in its net profit at Rs 55.07 crore for Q3FY23 as compared to Rs 265.76 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, the total income of the bank increased by 24.71% to Rs 7,064.08 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 5,664.33 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value of Rs 2 has a 52-week high and low of Rs. 24.75 and Rs. 12.11, respectively.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 20.55 and Rs 17.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 52,187.29 crore. The Institutions and Non-Institutions held 61.44% and 38.55% stake in the bank respectively.
