Top smallcap stocks with rising promoter holdings

On Monday, Asian indices and US Futures slide amid a surge in US Treasury yields as the US Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell signals policy tightening and European Central Bank undermining risk appetite.
On April 22, 2022, Nifty 50 gave up its two-day winning run. This was led by the hint from Powell, the US Fed Chair, suggesting a rate hike of up to 50 basis points in June 2022. At the closing bell, Nifty 50 ended in red, falling 1.27% to settle at 17,172. Investors are presently hoping for an early end to the geopolitical uncertainty revolving around the Russia-Ukraine war, whereas they are also digesting the likeliness of monetary policy tightening and softer earnings.
On Friday, the US indices declined sharply and suffered its biggest one-day fall since 2020. This was the result of investors weighing on the hawkish tone of Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell. Moreover, this can also be attributed to largely disappointing corporate earnings. Dow on a weekly basis declined 1.9%, while S&P 500 and Nasdaq tumbled 2.8% and 3.8%, respectively. For Dow, it was a fourth successive drop, whereas, for S&P 500 and Nasdaq, it was the third consecutive fall.
