Hence, when a stock sees a good spike in volume in the last leg of the trade along with price rise, it is considered a pro, and institutions have a keen interest in the stock. So, based on this principle, we have shortlisted three stocks that have witnessed volume burst in the last leg of the trade along with price rise.

Ceat Limited: The stock skyrocketed nearly 8% at the end of the day. Right from the start, the stock continued to move higher and garnered huge volume as the day progressed. The volumes kept on rising towards the end, and the stock recorded a huge volume burst of about 40% of the total volume in the last hour of the session.  With this, the stock also surged about 3% during this time. Thus, the stock is likely to be traded heavily with positive bias in times to come.

Astrazeneca Pharma: The stock closed marginally higher by about half percent. It traded negative for most part of the day but witnessed a smart recovery towards the day end. In the last 75 minutes, the stock gained nearly 1.5% and closed nearly at day’s high. Moreover, the volumes during this period were huge, and indicates larger participation of the stock. Thus, the stock is expected to be treated with positive bias next week.

La Opala: The stock traded in red for most of the part but gained momentum in the second half of the sessions. The stock turned volatile as huge number of shares were traded in the last hour. About 65% of the total day’s volume was recorded during this period. In the end, the stock soared over 7%. As the price made huge moves at both ends, the stock is likely to be traded heavily in coming days.
