Asian Paints, CreditAccess Grameen, and Dabur have witnessed volume burst in the last 75 minutes of the trade.
As the saying goes, the first, as well as the last hour of each trading session, is the most important and active in terms of price & volume.
More so, the activity in the last hour is said to be of utmost importance because most of the pro-traders and institutions are active at this time. Hence, when a stock sees a good spike in volume in the last leg of the trade along with price rise, it is considered a pro, and institutions have a keen interest in the stock. Market participants should keep a close watch on these stocks as they can witness good momentum in the short to medium-term.
So, based on this principle, we have shortlisted three stocks that have witnessed volume burst in the last leg of the trade along with price rise.
Asian Paints: The stock was up by 1.78% at the end of the day. The stock gained momentum towards the latter half of the session and surged about 2% in the last 75 minutes of the trade. The period also recorded above average volumes which is about 50% of the day’s volume. Moreover, the stock recorded sharp recovery from lower levels which suggests strong buying interest. Thus, the stock is likely to be traded heavily with positive bias in times to come.
CreditAccess Grameen: The stock soared over 5.31% on Monday. It traded firmly in green throughout the day and volumes increased hugely towards the end. Moreover, the stock formed a strong bullish candle. It has gained about 10% in the last two trading sessions and has been huge buying at lower levels. Rising volumes have been recorded for fourth straight day, which highlights larger participation in the stock. Thus, the stock is expected to be treated with positive bias next week.
Dabur: The stock gained about 3.40% on Monday. Interestingly, most of the gains came in the last hour when the stock jumped over 3.55%. Along with this, the stock recorded about 66.25% of the total volume of the day. With buying interest emerging in the end, the stock is likely to be positive in the very short term, as validated by above-average volume.
