Birlasoft, IDBI, and Divi’s Laboratories have witnessed volume burst in the last 75 minutes of the trade.
As the saying goes, the first, as well as the last hour of each trading session, is the most important and active in terms of price & volume.
More so, the activity in the last hour is said to be of utmost importance because most of the pro-traders and institutions are active at this time. Hence, when a stock sees a good spike in volume in the last leg of the trade along with price rise, it is considered a pro, and institutions have a keen interest in the stock. Market participants should keep a close watch on these stocks as they can witness good momentum in the short to medium-term.
So, based on this principle, we have shortlisted three stocks that have witnessed volume burst in the last leg of the trade along with price rise.
Birlasoft: The stock soared 2.66% on Wednesday. It was volatile during the first half but picked up pace towards the end. It jumped about 1.50% in the last 75 minutes and recorded good volumes. The daily volumes soared, and thus it is likely to be traded heavily in times to come.
IDBI: The stock surged over 4.64% today. Interestingly, the stock formed a base before showing bullishness. The volume recorded today is above average and is greater than the 10-day and 30-day average volume. Most of this volume was recorded in the last one hour, which justifies its momentum towards the end. We expect the stock to continue its positive move in upcoming days.
Divi’s Laboratories: This large-cap stock jumped 2.48% at the end of the day. It has soared above its prior day’s high and is above its 50-DMA. The volumes have been good lately, and the stock is likely to be under traders’ radar for some more time.
