At market close on Thursday, the Sensex was up by 33.20 points or 0.06% at the 55,702.23 level and the Nifty 50 was trading at 16,682.65, up by 5.05 points or 0.03%.

A total of 3,461 shares were traded on the BSE, out of which 1,529 shares have advanced, 1,814 shares have declined and 118 shares are unchanged.

These stocks are likely to be in focus for Friday's trading session -

Tata Power  Limited: One of India’s largest integrated solar companies and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Power, bagged India’s largest single solar EPC order of 1GW for approx. ₹ 5,500 crores from SJVN Limited. This EPC order has been designed keeping in mind the innovative use of ‘Make in India’s cells and modules. The project will be developed under the CPSU scheme of MNRE and will be completed within 24 months. The shares of Tata Power ended higher by 1.06%, on the BSE.

Dabur India Limited: The FMCG major announced its results for the quarter ended on March 31, 2022. The consolidated reports show the net sales at Rs 2517.81 crore, up by 7.75%, as compared to Rs 2336.79 crore reported in Q3FY21. Operating profit rose by 4.79% in Q4FY22. The net profit fell and stood at Rs 295.54 crore, down by 21.79% as compared to the net profit of Rs 377.88 reported in Q4FY21. The stock of Dabur India ended 1.55% lower, at Rs 529.20 on the BSE.

Marico Limited – The company announced its quarterly results for Q4FY22 today. The net sales are reported at Rs 2161 crore, down by 10.22%, compared to the Rs 2407, posted in Q4FY22. The Operating profit also reduced by 20.9% and was at Rs 322 crore. The net profit also fell substantially by 18.9% and was at Rs 257 crore, compared to the net profit figure of Rs 317 crore in Q4FY21. The scrip of Marico was at Rs 520.45, up by 0.15% on the BSE.

52-week high stocks – From the BSE 500 pack, the stocks of Esab India, and Power Grid Corporation of India have hit their 52-week high on Thursday.
