The frontline equity indices, i.e., Sensex and Nifty witnessed a massive bloodbath on Monday.

At close, the Sensex was down by a shocking 1545.67 points or 2.62% at 57,491.51 and the Nifty was down by 468.05 points or 2.66% at 17,149.10.

On the BSE, about 511 shares have advanced, 3072 shares declined, and 123 shares are unchanged.

These stocks are likely to be in focus for Tuesday's trading session:

One 97 Communications (Paytm) Limited: Fullerton India has partnered with Paytm to expand digital lending to MSMEs and consumers with a special focus on smaller cities and towns. This partnership will leverage Paytm’s distribution and technology along with Fullerton’s deep risk assessment capabilities and scale. Using Paytm’s data-driven insights and Fullerton’s experience lending products like BNPL, merchant loans, personal loans will be offered. It will enable merchants to access credit easily and help them scale their business. The scrip was up by 1.85% at Rs 959.95, at market close, on the BSE. The scrip of Paytm was at Rs 917.45, down by 4.46% on the BSE.

HDFC Asset Management Company Limited: HDFC AMC announced its Q3FY22 results today. The profit before tax increased by 5.24% to Rs 485.15 crore compared to the same quarter in the previous year, whereas the net profit dropped 2.57% to Rs 359.75 crore compared to Rs 369.26 crore in Q3FY21. Revenue from operations was at Rs 549.67 crore in Q3FY22 vis-a-vis Rs 481.86 crore in Q3FY21. The shares of HDFC AMC were 4.67% down at Rs 2258.85, at market close on Monday.

Adani Transmission Limited: The shares of Adani transmission hit a 52-week high on Monday, even as the markets tumbled heavily. The stock went up to Rs 2141 per share in the morning session, a 3.36% rise from the last trading session. The scrip was down by 1.50% at Rs 2035.90, at day end on Monday.

52-week high stocks – From the BSE 500 pack, the stocks of ABB India, Cholamandalam Investment and Fin Co, and Adani Transmission have hit their 52-week high on Monday.
