On Thursday, Indian benchmark indices ended in green for the second consecutive session with Sensex advancing more than 700 points.
At close, the Sensex was 776.50 points or 1.35% on the upper side at 58,461.29 level, and the Nifty zoomed 234.80 points or 1.37% settling at 17,401.70 level. About 2139 shares have advanced, 1040 shares declined, and 139 shares are unchanged.
On the sectoral front indices ended in the green with IT, metal, realty, auto, FMCG, oil & gas, power indices up 1-2%. In the broader markets, BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices added 1% each.
Watch out for these stocks in Friday’s trading session:
Larsen & Toubro - India's leading engineering conglomerate, and ReNew Power, India's leading renewable energy company, announced a partnership agreement to tap the emerging green hydrogen business in India. Under this agreement, L&T and ReNew will jointly develop, own, execute and operate green hydrogen projects in India. The stock of the company has ended the trading session at Rs 1,793 with a mere gain of 0.39%. It is likely to be in focus on Friday.
Amber Enterprises - The company announced that it has entered into the definitive agreements with Pasio India and acquired a 73% stake in the equity share capital of Pasio, engaged in manufacturing and sale of Cross Flow Fans and other plastic parts for AC and other industries. This acquisition will help the company to grow its component segment with a focus on providing more backward integrated solutions in key components of the RAC segment. The stock has ended 0.36% lower in Thursday's trading session.
