These Low-Priced stocks made a 52-week high on Monday!

The frontline equity indices i.e, Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading flat since the opening bell. The Sensex is trading at 61,357, up by 134 points and the Nifty was up by 49.20 points at 18,304 levels, respectively.

The top five gainers of Nifty 50 were Hero Motocorp, ONGC, Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, and State Bank of India. Whereas, the top five stocks pulling down the index are HCL Technologies, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Coal India, Hindalco, and Axis Bank.

BSE Midcap index is trading at a level of 26,146.32, up by 0.23%. The top three gainers of the index include Rajesh Exports (up by 10.20%), Supreme Industries, and Oil India. Each of these scrips was up by more than 4%. The top three stocks dragging the index include ACC Ltd, Mphasis, and Steel Authority of India (SAIL).

BSE Smallcap index is trading at 31,132.91, up by 0.59%. The top three gainers are Khaitan Chemicals and Fertilizers, Precision Wires India, and Nectar LifeSciences. Each of these stocks gained more than 17%. The top three stocks pulling the index down include Granules India, Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra), and Hexa Tradex.

All BSE sectoral indices were trading flat except for BSE Metal which was down by more than 1%.

Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) invested a net of Rs 3117 crore in the Indian markets between January 1 to January 14, 2022. Out of this, Rs 1857 crore were invested in equities, and Rs 1743 crore were invested in hybrid instruments. At the same time, the FPIs divested Rs 482 crore from the debt segment as well.
