Chola Investment and Finance Company Ltd has reported Disbursements for Q4FY23 were around Rs 21,020 crore as compared to Rs 12,718 crore in Q4FY22, representing a 65% increase on yearly basis, and for FY23 it was roughly Rs 66,532 crore as opposed to Rs 35,490 crore, representing an 87% increase.

In Q4FY23, the vehicle finance business grew approximately by 39% to Rs 12,190 crore and in FY23 it grew approximately by 56% to Rs 39699 crore.

LAP business boosted disbursements by 48% in Q4 of FY23 to roughly Rs 2,762 crore and by 68% in FY23 to about Rs 9,299 crore.

Home loan disbursements were Rs 1,405 crore in Q4 of FY23 and Rs 3,830 crore in FY23, representing a YoY increase of 156% and 102%, respectively.

Disbursements in the MSME sector were Rs 2,104 crore in Q4 of FY23 and Rs 6,388 Cr in FY23, representing a YoY increase of 127% and 232%, respectively.

Disbursements in the CSEL sector, which was started last year, totaled Rs 2,363 crore in Q4 of FY23 and Rs 6,865 crore in FY23. Disbursements in the SBPL business, which was launched last year, were Rs 196 crore in Q4 of FY23 and Rs 451 crore in FY23.

The Corporation had a good liquidity position, with a cash balance of Rs 5,222 Cr at the end of March 23, with Rs 1,500 crore invested in G sec and Rs 1,600 crore invested in T-bills, for a total liquidity position of Rs 6,750 crore.
