Low Price Shares locked in Upper Circuit on March 30

At noon on Wednesday, the core equity indices, i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50, were trading on the upper side due to a drop in crude oil prices and positive global cues.
The Sensex was trading at 58,550.17 up by 606.52 points or 1.05% and the Nifty 50 was trading at 17,735.46 up by 156.60 points or 0.89%.
The top five gainers in the Nifty 50 pack are Bajaj Finserv, Bajaj Finance, Axis Bank, Maruti Suzuki, and HDFC Ltd. Meanwhile, the top five stocks pulling down the index are Tata Steel, Tech Mahindra, ITC, Sun Pharmaceuticals, and NTPC.
BSE Midcap index is trading at a level of 24,021.68 up by 0.71%. The top 3 gainers of the index were IDFC First Bank, Nuvoco Vistas, and Zee Entertainment Enterprises. Each of these scrips gained more than 5%. The top three stocks dragging the index were Adani Power, Oil India, and CG Consumer.
BSE Smallcap index is trading at, 28,196.10 up by 1.33%. The top three gainers are Gayatri Project, Centrum Capital, and Sadbhav Engineering. Each of these stocks gained more than 18%. The top three stocks pulling the index down are Dhanvarsha Financial Services, GFL, and Indian Metals and Ferro Alloys.
Almost all the sectoral indices on the BSE were trading in the green, barring BSE Metal which tanked 2.35%. Whereas BSE Auto, BSE finance, BSE Private Bank and BSE Realty were trading more than 1%.
