Partnering with Gujarat Titans
Equitas Small Finance Bank has signed a partnership as the ‘Proud Banking Partner’ with the 2022 Tata IPL champions - Gujarat Titans for the 2023 season. This is to further the Bank’s brand ethos of being ‘The Progressive Bank Behind Progressive Champions’. The Gujarat Titans team will sport the Equitas Small Finance Bank logo on the back of the helmet as part of the team’s jersey.
Some of the key benefits of banking with Equitas include earning up to 7% interest on savings, contactless video KYC service, no maintenance charges on savings accounts, free online fund transfers and so on. These offerings aim to build stronger communities, phygitally across India in a seamless and agile manner.
Stock price movement
On Wednesday, the shares of Equitas Small Finance Bank were trading at Rs 73.86, up by 0.61 points or 0.83% from its previous closing of Rs 73.25 on the BSE. The stock opened at Rs 73.02 and has touched a high and low of Rs 74.87 and Rs 72.07, respectively. The BSE group 'A' stock with a face value of Rs 10 has touched a 52-week high and low of Rs 77.87 and Rs 37.50, respectively. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 77.87 and Rs 69.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 9,278.56 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.48%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 19.42% and 6.10% respectively.
Company Profile
Equitas Small Finance Bank Ltd was a wholly-owned subsidiary of Equitas Holding Ltd before obtaining a small bank licence. The holding company began operations in the microfinance sector in 2007 and expanded into vehicle and housing finance in 2011. In 2013, we also ventured into SME and LAP. It merged with the other two subsidiaries, Equitas Microfinance Ltd and Equitas Housing Finance Ltd, to form a bank. After receiving a licence in September 2016, the company began operations as Equitas Small Finance Bank.
