Changes announced in the Price Bands of Stocks

NSE has announced changes to the price bands (circuit filters) for various stocks. Currently, a total of 2,241 stocks on the NSE are subjected to price bands. Out of these, there are 7 stocks in the 2% band, 295 stocks in the 5% band, 151 stocks in the 10% band, 192 stocks with no bands (essentially F&O stocks), 1,595 stocks in the 20% band and just 1 stock in the 40% band. In addition, all mutual funds are subjected to 10% price bands. The price bands are the trading limits for intraday movement.
Changes to the price bands announced
In a circular dated 10th April 2023, the NSE announced a series of price band changes, which will be effective from Tuesday, 11th April 2023. A total of 212 stocks will be subject to price band changes effective from 11th April 2023. Here are the lists based on the nature of the price band change.
