Larsen & Toubro Ltd: As a part of its 5-year plan, the company is planning to divest its exposure to road and power concessions and incubate e-commerce and digital businesses. Today at 11:05 am, the scrip is trading at Rs 1650, a gain of 2.48%.    

Infosys Ltd: The IT industry major has reappointed Salil Parekh as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director for the next five years, effective from 1st July 2022. Today at 11:05 am, the scrip is trading at Rs 1478.35, a gain of 1.57%. 

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd: This drug major has to recall around 10,500 bottles of a generic drug which was going to be used for the treatment of major depressive disorders in the USA, after a customer complaint. Today at 11:05 am, the scrip is trading at Rs 926.55, a gain of 1.21%.   

Shree Cement Ltd: The leading cement manufacturer reported a 16% decline in the standalone net profit of Rs 645 crore in the fourth quarter of FY22, compared to Rs 768 crore recorded in the previous year. The revenue rose by 3.6% to Rs 4099 crore in comparison with Rs 3958 crore recorded last year. The decline in profit was because of the surge in the cost of power and fuel, in addition to the high base of last year’s quarter. Today at 11:45 am, the scrip is trading at Rs 21879, a decline of 0.60%. 

NTPC Ltd: India’s largest energy conglomerate announced its results and net sales stood at Rs 37,085.07 crore in March 2022, a surge of 23.2% from Rs 30,102.60 crore in March 2021. The Q4 net profit stood at Rs 5,166.50 crore in March 2022, up by 13.75% compared to Rs. 4,541.79 crore in March 2021. EBITDA was at Rs. 12,065.19 crore in March 2022, a 28.93% increase from Rs 9,357.72 crore in March 2021. Today at 11:05 am, the scrip is trading at Rs 150.40, a gain of 0.60%.
