● Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) raise up to Rs 18,000 crore through the rights issue of shares to eligible shareholders. ● In a statement earlier this month, BPCL said that to achieve its goals for the energy transition, net zero, and energy security, its board of directors would be considering a variety of capital infusion modalities, including rights issues.

● InterGlobe Aviation Ltd became India's first aviation company to have a market capitalization of Rs. 1 trillion after its shares reached a new high of 29 percent this year. ● Among the world's top ten listed aviation companies, Indigo ranks 10th in terms of market value.

● Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) announced that its board of directors has approved three investment proposals totaling Rs 389 crore. ● The first investment proposal is for a change in scope to establish a dedicated telecom network for NTAMC at a cost of Rs 164.38 crore. The second is for the Western Region Expansion Scheme - XXXIII (WRES-XXXIII) - Part A, which is expected to be completed by August 15, 2024 at a cost of Rs 115.09 crore.
