On Thursday, Bharat Dynamics announced that its board has approved a stock split and interim dividend for shareholders.
The stock split would be done in a 1:2 ratio. This means one share with a Rs. 10 face value would become two shares having a face value of Rs. 5.
The final decision would be made after post-ballot notice and shareholders’ e-voting with a cut-off date of 22nd March.
Along with this, the board has also declared a Rs. 8.85 interim dividend per share. The record date is 2nd April and the payment processing date is on or before 18th April.
With these announcements, Bharat Dynamics' shock price increased by 2.5% on Friday. It made a high of 1719.70 compared to the previous close of 1661.90 on NSE.
