Tata Consumer to acquire Capital Foods

The company behind the well-known food brands Ching's Secret and Smith & Jones, Capital Foods, is apparently in advanced talks to be acquired by Tata Consumer Products, one of India's top food and beverage businesses. The purchase is anticipated to be worth Rs 5,500 crore for the company.

Petromin & HPCL to invest $700 mn in fuel stations

Petromin Corporation KSA and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) have announced an investment of $700 million in fuel stations, car servicing workshops, and EV charging stations. Petromin Express India, a Petromin Corporation affiliate, would invest $100 million over the following five years to construct approximately 1,000 vehicle service shops at HPCL retail locations in India. 

JSW in talks with LG Energy Solution to make EV batteries in India

JSW and Korea's LG Energy Solution (LGES) are in preliminary discussions about working together to manufacture batteries in India. Earlier this month, JSW met with senior LGES officials in Korea to discuss a partnership to produce battery cells for EVs and energy storage in India.
