RailTel Corporation of India’s share price increased by 16% on Monday during three trading sessions amid the news of winning the third contract in a week and the fourth contract in March.
The share price opened at Rs. 369.00 up by Rs. 19.75 from the last closing price of Rs. 350.75. The stock made a high of Rs. 378.70 during the day.
Over the weekend, the company informed SEBI that it had won a contract worth s. 351.95 Cr from the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai.
As per the contract terms, RailTel will provide operational and maintenance services to the Health Department of the BMC for HMIS.
In the previous week, RailTel won two contracts worth Rs. 130 cr and Rs. 114 cr, respectively. Before this, it had won another contract from Odisha worth Rs. 87 cr.
