On 14th March Quant Mutual Fund announced small-cap and mid-cap stress tests which showcase the overall investment risk due to market volatility and impact on the liquidity of the funds.
As per the stress test outcome, for liquidation of 50% of the portfolio in Quant Small Cap Fund and Quant Mid Cap Fund, it would take the AMC 22 days and 6 days, respectively.
For 25% of the portfolio liquidation in Quant Small Cap Fund and Quant Mid Cap Fund, the time needed is 11 days and 3 days, respectively.
The stress test was conducted by the AMC after the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) and the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) instructed Indian AMCs to conduct a stress test.
The Quant Small Cap Fund allocates 28.36% to large-cap stocks, 0.24% to mid-cap stocks, 65.87% to small-cap stocks, and 5.53% to cash.
Quant Mid Cap Fund has a portfolio composition of 27.36% in large-cap stocks, 69.57% in mid-cap stocks, and 3.07% in cash.
