Powered by inflows from Foreign institutional investors, the Sensex achieved its first milestone of 70,000 points on December 11, 2023, completing 70% of its previous 10,000-point run in just 31 days. It took 1.5 years for Sensex to reach this new milestone from the previous of 60,000 mark
