On November 12, the BSE scheduled a special Diwali Muhurat session during which a large number of traders will purchase tokens.
From 6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m., Diwali Muhurat trading for new Samvat will take place. Throughout the rest of the day, markets will be closed.
The festivities herald the beginning of the Hindu calendar year, known as Samvat. This is an auspicious time for traders since it is believed to bring growth and financial prosperity to all parties involved. Muhurat Trading is thought to provide year-round benefits to investors.
The stock markets have closed higher on the Muhurat trading day throughout the last two Mahurat Trading sessions. On Muhurat trading in 2022, the Sensex and the Nifty both increased by 0.88 percent, whereas in 2021, the two benchmarks increased by 0.49 percent apiece.
On November 14, on the occasion of Diwali Balipratipada, the stock exchanges will be closed.
